Pet Day

Today we had pet day at Oruaiti school. We had pet day because it was a excuse to have a fun day
so we brought our pets to school . l enjoyed seeing the pets.l was most proud of my goat with I brought to pets day. 

Landscape Art

This is my landscape art which we did a few week's ago, I like how it look's it's a nice view of Cooper's Beach.

Pick a Path

 I like the way it came out. I am pleased that I finished it. I like the way I used a realistic story and didnt include any death in the storyline. Next time I will add some pictures to my story.

bird art

 How- I had to search up my picture off goggle images of the bird i wanted to do i choose a scarlet ma caw.
Why- We did this as one of six pieces for our pet day at the end of this term.
When- We started our artwork in term 2 scarlet macaw lives ln Central America and South America, including eastern Mexico, Guatemala, Belize, Colombia, Ecuador, Amazonian Peru and Brazil . I found it easy. The only hard part was getting the glue all over my fingers and some of the paper came off.  I found that annoying, I was successful because I finished it. I feel I have done a good job.  I like my Scarlett Mc Caw.  I think I might do an easier bird to do next time.time

Learning Together

Today we had Learning Together. This is when we do science experiments.
One experiment we did was watching how cabbage water would change colour when you add acids and base   . 
Baking soda is a base and it makes the cabbage  water turn pink. lf you add vinegar to purple cabbage water it will turn red. If you put red cabbage into boiling hot water it will make cabbage water. Then you put it into containers and you put baking soda into the red cabbage.  

Small Box

We were learning to draw 3 d shapes. At the start I found it challenging to draw a box. Finally I drew a good box and I drew one and kept going on and on.
Next time I want to fill the whole page.

Year 7/8 CAPP Survey

This term we completed a survey for the CAPP (Careers Aspirations - Personalised Pathways) programme. CAPP is collecting this data so that they can present to our local schools on how they can support us with our future pathways.
